2. Categories we use

• Strictly necessary (authentication & security) — these keep you signed in, protect against cross-site request forgery, balance load, and enable core functionality. The Service will not work properly without them, so they cannot be switched off through a consent control.
• Preferences — these remember choices such as display settings and dismissed notices to improve your experience.
• Analytics — we use privacy-conscious analytics to understand, in aggregate, how the Service is used so we can improve it. Where required, these are set only with your consent.

3. Third-party cookies

Some features rely on third parties that may set their own cookies when you use them, including Stripe (payments), Discord (community connection), Cal.com (scheduling), and our analytics provider. These cookies are governed by those parties' own policies. We do not use cookies to sell your data or for cross-context behavioral advertising.

4. Controlling cookies

You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings and, where offered, through on-site cookie controls. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may break parts of the Service. Because BackerCove does not currently serve advertising cookies, we do not respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals differently, but we honor consent choices where they apply.
